Because so many of the flaws I call them out on, they accept with an enthusiastic cheer. Any violent and/or vitriolic reactions from black people are all justified because of perceived persecution? Yep! Trayvon is the be-all, end-all issue of our nation? Of course! Men are the cause all things wrong with society? Certainly!
How does one get through to people who are too far gone to even recognize when they’re being called stupid?
Trayvon Martin’s murder is important, not only to his family and community, but to all African Americans and all PoC; because his murder got away with it which shows (as just one example) the disregard the “justice” system holds for PoC.
Men are the oppressive power; men are the oppressors in power of our society, so if you are seeing something wrong how can you blame the people who are not in power?
