My English is not perfect and perhaps I am misinterpreting an expression, but I see a lot of white people say things like “i like all people no matter what their skin color is”.
.
And I cannot help but feel like comments including “no matter what” infers a negative hurdle that one must overcome to accept people of color.
Do they mean: “I like all people for everything that they are” or “I like all people despite their skin color?”; because the later phrase I find problematic.
