I can try but not really from my mom. My dad would never let us speak it in front of him either. I know a little and I can understand it so I can understand my mom and grandma.

Well that is a blessing in some small way. Some people lose their language completely. May I ask whether or not you are an adult? If you are an adult is there any websites you can access to help you practice this language? It is vital to our cultures to preserve our languages. I find it commendable that you are searching out your Native language. I work at an American Indian Education office. I could search through our language books if you could tell me what language to look for?
