I’m prepared to get a LOT of hate for this, but I think everyone’s putting way too much into Trayvon Martin’s death. Do I believe that Zimmerman is in fact guilty? Yes. Do I believe this case should have this much publicity? Absolutely not. These things happen EVERY SINGLE DAY. Marley Lion was a…

Being discriminated against in a restaurant is not racism. White people do not experience racism because racism = prejudice + power.

I do not understand the cruelty that has to exist inside a person to say that a child’s murder got too much attention. Zimmerman committed a hate crime and got away with it. A child was murdered because Zimmerman is racist. And you think that got too much attention? *smh*

Honestly, how many times must I explain this? The restaurant was simply a story in the middle of the racism I receive from people like you every single day. Do you not hear the racism in your own words?  White people experience racism- every race does. If your too brainwashed by the media to believe that then I see no reason to defend myself. I also stated very clearly that I don’t believe the murder in itself is getting too much attention. it’s the fact that people are pinning racism purely on white people- which you are doing at this very moment. What about the kids that got killed by black people? Do you not believe that racism was involved? Think about it, if you’re able to.

Not every murder is a hate crime; however the murder of Trayvon Martin was a hate crime. And trying to deflect from Trayvon’s story, while bringing him up in your own message, by saying “white kids get murdered too!” is unethical. You are trying to pass this hate crime off as a not-racist crime, which it isn’t. You are trying to ignore racism.
