I said something along the lines of what you are saying right now a few weeks ago, I was told that only white people are racist. I really think that there are racists from every race, and that we all need to try to work together to end all racism. There are double standards everywhere, and they suck.

white people do not experience racism; they can experience discrimination and prejudice but not racism. racism = prejudice + power.

Please do not divert from Trayvon story in attempt to assuage your white guilt.
