How do you know that they don’t self-identify as Native American and that they haven’t earned it? You don’t! :) Before you counter argue that I don’t know you either: first i don’t wanna know you, you come across as pretentious, condescending regardless of subject matter and hypocritical. Second, I’m not making my statements based on assumptions of you personally but of what you have written.

Whether these “models” identify as Native or not they are still promoting racism by wearing fake warbonnets. The images that I have commented on have been fake warbonnets; the fake ones are quite obvious. If they had earned the right to wear a warbonnet they wouldn’t have a fake one and they wouldn’t use it as a fashion accessory or prop.
