The other side to this coin, is that you also don’t know if these posters of these “racist images” are not Native American? Make up your mind and pick a side. Your argument to the anons that your daughter is “not Native American” is that she “self-identifies” as Native American and that that’s the reason they wear the warbonnets?

Can some of these “models” have some Native blood in them? Sure.
When I say non-Native I am not saying that all of them have absolutely no Native blood, I am saying that they are not connected to the Native cultures that practice the use of the warbonnet. If they were connected to any of these cultures then they would understand why they shouldn’t wear a warbonnet they haven’t earned, and that wearing fake ones desecrates and mocks the real ones.
