Your text was intended to be against racism but I found it highly offensive, calling me a ‘racial slur’ is definitely out of order as you are clearly unnawear of my parents Native heritage. This is what I wrote to you that you feel victimized over: “posting photos of people wearing costume warbonnets promotes racism. the warbonnet is a sacred item that must be earned; it is offensive to use a warbonnet, fake or otherwise, as a prop or accessory.
And “Red Indian" is a racial slur.“
The warbonnet you are wearing is a fake one; that does not honor your heritage. If you haven’t earned it and have the approval from a tribe who traditionally uses the warbonnet then you have no right to wear one.
