People dress up for the premier of just about any movie they go see. Did we see the lines of insane fans all over the world for the Harry Potter 8 premier? Point.

No. They’re like “omg I’m so excited for this movie and I wanna dress up to go see it!“
They don’t hate you. They don’t hate other cultures and they’re not making fun. They’re dressing up for a fucking movie.
