Face and hair today. Black and blonde dreads, man.

bindi+dreads+white person= A BIG FUCKING NO

Thank you, :)

Go ahead, acting all cutesy doesn’t erase the fact you’re ignorant as fuck.

Alright, let’s have a chat, shall we? So, your blog is about your opinions? That’s great! I’m very glad that you’re confident enough to share your opinions with the tough blogging world out there. Really, I mean it! No sarcasm!

But let’s think about this for a minute. As I’ve seen on your blog that “white people" wearing bindis to be “fashionable" is offensive to you. I respect your opinion, and your religion.

And speaking of religion, I find myself to be quite educated with many religions, despite being religious myself. I will sit down with anyone in the world and listen to what they have to say, rant, scream, yell, cry, and state about their beliefs. I will not disagree with a word that comes out of their mouth. And seeing this, don’t you think that I would understand what a bindi symbolizes in religious terms? No, because you didn’t stop to think that maybe I understand the meaning and religious aspects. You also didn’t stop to think that I do respect the religion. I respect all religions.

Following, I’d like to point out that you stated in your opinion that I am white. …Why… look at that! I am! And you know what? I’m proud of my skin color. And no, I didn’t choose to be this color. So are you asking for an apology about my skin color? Well here;s the facts. Yes, people who share my skin color and native traits have done some very negative things in the past. I couldn’t help it. Just because of my skin color, I don’t agree with what they did. But it’s not like people with other skin colors are all free of guilt. No one is the bad guy, yet no one is truly the good guy, now are we?

And would you like to know the reason why I have fake, synthetic dreads pinned into my chemically colored hair? Because I like it. But your opinion says otherwise, so I won’t waste my words to someone who won’t open their mind to anyone’s opinion but their own.

Call me ignorant again. Do it.

You’re ignorant.

And what kind of bullshit justification is that? Also, the bindi is a cultural item, not a religious one. I don’t care about your knowledge or personal taste. You says you respect my opinion but you don’t.

“Call me ignorant again. Do it.”

“You’re ignorant.”

Suddenly the earth opens up. Demons come flying out from the depths of hell, defiling virgins and eating babies. Satan himself rises up on a throne of fire and brimstone, and takes flight.

He lands at the home of opinionsropinions, and she comes out of her house, confused.

Satan pulls out his cane made of bones and the flesh of the innocent, and proceeds to knight her.

He looks down upon her and with the volume of a thousand screaming souls, says, “She told you to do it, and you did. You are officially 2edgy5me. Congratulations, you have earned your place in the great history books.“

Your right OP; I won’t call you ignorant because by now you have been given enough information as to why you should not wear a bindi. You know it is an act of racism and yet you still justify it; that’s not ignorance, that’s racism.
