Native People’s History Day; May 2013.
This is a photo of me and some of the students who visited my station that day. I taught how to make pine nut necklaces. This event had 20 stations including crafts and activities such as: atlatls, archery, basket weaving, corn husk dolls, walnut gambling game, story telling, and more. Over 800 children came from surrounding middle schools. This is my fifth year working at this event and I loved it.
