Why is the American education system failing the youth? smh…

Aside from the glaring ignorance of this girl’s introduction to the video and of the participants in the video (regular friend and an Indian one???), her concept of geography was horribly off.

In my weird brain, I can process this young, white American female being blissfully ignorant in her perception of other races, but I didn’t have the stomach to view anything past India apparently being an “African country in Asia.”

I feel like even if you don’t know something, if you plan on doing a video on it with other panelists for a video discussion USE THAT DAMN GOOGLE SERVICE you use to look up all the other random bs you entertain your mind with when you’re busy not learning a damn thing in the public (or private) school systems.

The fact that other kids like her literally have information available at their fingertips and have the knowledge to create accounts on social networking, find free tv shows and movies online, create memes and gifs, yet cock back and rattle off nonsense without quick fact checks is amazing to me.

I’m sick. Not only of the ignorance of her worldview, but of the unwillingness to do even the most remedial of research techniques before sounding lost as hell.
