1) I'm not racist. 2) my boyfriend and some of my best friends are Native American 3) I have family that is also Native American 5) sorry the picture offended you, but it really honestly they don't find it offensive and I don't think "racist" should be an assumption you automatically make.
1 ) I didn’t call you racist, this is what I wrote: posting photos of non-natives wearing costume warbonnets promotes racism. That means the photo is racist and that you are promoting racism; it doesn’t mean you are racist.
2 + 3 ) Having friends and or family members that are “Native American” does not exempt you of your behavior. You posted an image that is racist towards Native Americans.
Cultural Appropriation is an act of racism; whether it was your intention or not. There is a link, on my tumblr, titled Cultural Appropriation that goes into greater detail as to why that photo is racist, and it also has references that you can research.
