staying with my parents is not an easy choice; at this point it is the lesser of the evils. If I go to a shelter my daughter won’t be safe or comfortable. If I find someone willing to be a roommate they might be someone who doesn’t match our lifestyle, and it could potentially be a dangerous situation. And when I called section 8 they said it is a two year wait (at least). So… the best choice is to stay here.

Some people need to check their privilege before questioning why I do what I do. Everything I do is for my daughter. Her happiness, safety, and comfort always comes before my needs.
