Okay, thanks for answering my questions so politely. I saw somewhere that white people learning Japanese is racist so I was quite confused. It also made me very sad because I put so much effort into being a respectful and diligent learner of Japanese, and no Japanese person has ever had anything not positive to say about me learning Japanese. thanks for clearing it up for me!
