you tend to make really strong generalizations that can be offensive to those people who are good (i.e. all whites are racist and the oppressors). I'm sorry if white people have offended you and your heritage, but most of us are respectful people who believe in equality and love. I am personally offended by many comments made on this blog and it makes me sad because only a small group of people are the cause of them.

You kids sure need an awful amount of coddling.I never said ALL white people are racist; in fact, I have countless times written that not all white people are racist. So to keep going back to play this card is invalid. You are misquoting me and making wild assumptions in order to put all the blame on me so you do not have to reflect on your own actions. White people are the oppressors and the people in power. Does that mean all white people want their white privilege? No. Are there white people who want to change systematic and institutional racism? Yes. That doesn’t change their position of power. All white people benefit from the oppression of people of color, whether they want to or not. You are wrong if you think that only a small amount of white people are racist.

And if you claim to want equality and love why are you focusing on the treatments of white people instead of focusing on changing the racist behaviors of white people?
