posting photos of non-natives wearing costume warbonnets promotes racism.

These kind of photos reduces an entire race into a culture; thus dehumanizing that race. Native American is not a costume; it is an ethnicity made up of hundreds of nations, very few of which practiced the use of warbonnets. The nations that used warbonnets have advocated that they do not want non-natives who haven’t earned the warbonnet to wear them. You are perpetuating racist stereotypes and offending the nations by mocking their sacred items.

This isn’t racist at all, I didn’t do anything that could be considered racist and I’m not stereo typing or mocking Native American’s by tagging it as a Native American headdress that’s what it is, in no way did I make fun of them or their heritage. Also before you go and rant at someone you don’t know anything about you should really think about what you say. I actually am Native American obviously I’m not full native. So next time you decide to verbally attack someone by calling them racist when they did nothing racist you should consider the possibility they actually know what they;re doing/talking about.

It does not matter if you have Native blood; which I seriously doubt because that is literally what every hipster who gets called out says. Having a drop of Native blood (or even a large amount of Native blood) would not exempt you from your racist behavior.

This photo promotes racism and dehumanizes Native Americans.

What nation are you from? Do you know which nations you are disrespecting and mocking? Why do you think it is okay to mock a sacred item?
