I really would like to support Natives by buying some of their handmade goods(I think you mentioned BuckSkin Boutique?), but is it okay for me as a non-Native to wear some of their items? I want to show my support, but I DO NOT want to show disrespect in ANY WAY to any Native population. What do you think?

Buying Native-made jewelry, blankets, accessories, etc is a good way to support Native sellers. Just be aware of not buying sacred items, like the warbonnet. Buying necklaces, moccasins, and art is great, especially when you talk to the seller and get their meaning behind the pieces.

As long as you don’t put on moccasins and a feather and say “look I’m a Native American!” Then you are fine. If you wear accessories and know the meaning then that is a good way to show support for Native artists and cultures. Thanks for the message.
