YOU MADE THAT ASSUMPTION ON YOUR OWN! How do you KNOW her parents aren't abusive and this is just ANOTHER thing she has to put up with? How do you know she's not anorexic or dealing with huge body image issues and having to go to a pool party will send her into a panic attack that results in self harm? You are being insensitive. You are assuming for no apparent reason that she is literally JUST complaining about a party. THINK FIRST.
