edi-to It’s only dehuminizing in your perspective. It’s what you read into it. Sane people don’t see borrowing an item of clothing as making the culture they come from less than human. But that’s what you want to find in it so you find it. No white person sees natives as less than human because someone wore a head dress. It’s not racist. Get over it.

They think we are a thing of the past and that after colonizing us, raping us, committed genocide against us, assimilation, relocation, etc they think they have a right to further mock us and reduce us to a costume.
