It hurts me so much more when I see a PoC being racist towards other PoCs. I'm well aware that it isn't as bad as a white person is racist, but it just personally breaks my heart. The worst is when I see Native South Americans wearing war bonnets. I feel as though one thing that we forget to mention, because we feel as though we don't need to mention it because it's self explanatory, is that being a PoC does not give you an excuse to be racist toward other PoCs
When PoC display prejudice towards other PoC it is heartbreaking and confusing. Leaves me saying; “why are you doing this you know how it feels”. Hopefully tumblrs like our can shed some light on cultural appropriation. Hopefully we can help change this.
