offensive, then maybe try explaining how its racist and why it offends you, instead of saying "real natives do not wear costume warbonnets, and desecrate them by using them as a prob in a photoshoot. intent is irrelevant. that photo is racist and offensive." most people, like myself, didn't even realize it was racist. i dont mean any hate. your points are all valid and I understand what you're saying, but if you want people to hear you and actually realize why its wrong, then try being kind!

Honey, I’ve been doing this a long time and no matter how I approach people they still do not change their minds. Do not blame the victims; blame the oppressor. She is oppressing me and my people.
In the past six years I have changed the minds of 15 people out of thousands, yes thousands. People who are racist won’t let go of their power whether I’m nice, mean, or direct.
Instead of telling me how to talk why don’t you go tell your friend how to think.
