You purport that 'Cultural Appropriation' is the adoption of icons, rituals, aesthetic standards and behavior from one culture by another... and that is an act of 'racism'. Could you clarify why using some "icons, rituals, aesthetic standards and behavior" is racist while using others are not? For example, you're using English as a language, but are you English? Are Hawaiians racist for using the Union Flag in their State flag? Are Native Americans racist for having horses stolen from Spaniards?

Answer

English was forced assimilation on my family and Native Americans, and other PoC. Horses that were stolen is not cultural appropriation.

Are horses sacred to the people they were stolen from? Do horses depict an entire race? Are they items used solely by one group? No.

You need to read about cultural appropriation because you do not understand what it is.

Also, you aren’t quoting me, you are quoting google search. I have written about it on my blog perhaps you could read what I actually wrote.
