I’m sorry my post has offended so many people. This is just a piece of information I came across during some LGBTQ studies. I knew when I posted it that “Native American culture” (singular) was a very pigeonholed term and not encompassing all groups of Native Americans who are all VERY different from one another (being different kinds of native american myself) and was also only being partly serious paraphrasing this information, but I really didn’t give it much thought at the time.
I’ve seen some comments on this saying that “why wouldn’t she say this? typical white girl!” Well, hell you have just stereotyped ME as well! Maybe you think your comments are helping this argument, but it doesn’t. How about a civil message? How about the benefit of the doubt that I made this post in pure ignorance and had no intention whatsoever to hurt anybody?? No. You’d rather threaten to burn my house to the ground and rape me. How.
