After a huge debate with a girl yesterday about this issue I’ve decided to write about why I believe that reverse racism is a real thing:
- The dictionary definition of racism states that it is racist to be discriminatory against another human being due to their racial background.
- The dictionary...
- The dictionary, written by white people who have no concept of racism, leaves out in the description of racism: systematic racism, institutionalized racism, and individual racism. Read about these issues before you attempt to define racism.
- Golly Gee! Why would the dictionary only tell a white person’s point of view on racism? I cannot imagine…. <–sarcasm
- White people do not experience racism. Not now, not in the past.
- White people CAN experience discrimination; however, these instances do not hold a candle to what PoC have gone through and are still going through.
- racism is not a thing of the past.
- You are mistaking the words prejudice and discrimination for racism. White people can experience prejudice and discrimination. White people do not experience racism.
- Racism=prejudice+power
- Again, typical white person. DISCUSES RACISM AND MAKES IT ALL ABOUT THEM. Your white tears disgust me. There are real people with real problems out there.
