first of all marriage is a modern construction reenforced by laws.

I believe in life partnering. But I do not need a piece of paper that tells me who I have made a life with. I recognize why some people choose to get married, because of all the legal hassle.

But my people didn’t need documentation to prove our commitment to another person.

Plus.

I am not the marrying type. No one will look at me and say I gotta have that lol. If someone wanted me they would have had me by now. I am too old and too strong to get married.

That ship has sailed.

Hell, I might as well adopt 100+ cats and call it quits.
