I’ve been asked by a few bloggers to speak about the bullying taking place in the tumblr ndn community and after days of thinking about how to word this I cannot come up with anything helpful or profound.

1. the online indigenous community(communities) are here to extend…

that is a rumor. a few years ago I posted a photo of LB at the Oroville powwow, wearing their fancy shawl regalia and there was a face-painter there who painted a purple butterfly on LB’s face. a couple years after i posted that a blogger who has been bullying me for years (not you, someone else) said it was redface. I asked them to show proof; they didn’t. I explained the butterfly as not being redface; didn’t matter to them. this rumor stems from someone who doesn’t like me and keeps making up things in attempt to hurt me, scare me, and get me offline.

It wasn’t a butterfly, it was warpaint.  Plenty of people remember it.  You’re only fooling a handful of people, and its a shame you’re fooling them.

LB as never worn anything like “war paint” and I am not attempting to fool anyone. I remember when these rumors started and back then I re-posted the photos of LB and everyone seemed to ignore it. I do not appreciate anyone talking about my child, it sparks my anger, and LB doesn’t deserve to be in this conversation. If you believe rumors about me that’s okay. A lot of people will believe whatever their friends tell them to believe. If you think I am a fake person or whatever then ignore me? Block me?

Lol whatever dude, keep pretending to be Native.  Don’t let the rez dogs eat ya.

Keep believing rumors started by another online bully, whatever makes you happy. I know my truth and I know that it didn’t happen. But let’s pretend that it did, could someone make a mistake and still be native? Yes. Recently, I unfriended 103 people off of my facebook because during the Baltimore Uprising the unfriended people were posting anti-black things. They were indigenous people who were not white passing. There are/were native people on my facebook who misuse costume warbonnets, there are/were native peoples on my facebook who post fetishizing native girls images. There are native people who can promote racism against their own race and it doesn’t magically dissolve their native blood. I am native, even if you think I made this mistake, it doesn’t change who and what I am. You, and the bullies you listen to, do not get to decide who is who. You do, however, have a right to block any suspicious users you may encounter.
