i’m naive american btw and thanksgiving isn’t genocide. that happen many years later. plus what’s done is done. its in the past now.
The genocide began with the first settlers. thanksgiving was a celebration of having stole indigenous lands. If you research old documents, newspapers written back then, it states that it is a celebration of gaining land, not thanking indigenous peoples for saving and feeding and teaching settlers how to survive. Thanksgiving is a celebration of genocide.
Genocide of indigenous peoples is not a thing of the past. Indigenous peoples of the “American” continents are still experiencing genocide.
